Everyone needs health, hope and healing.

Eggleston Substance Abuse and Education Program

It Starts by Taking Control Restore community, one family at a time.

Too many lives have already been cut short from substance abuse and addiction. We see it in our streets. It echoes in the hallways at school. It cries from the mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons of those lost to the drug epidemic.

With your help, we can make that yesterday’s news. Together, we can silence the power of drugs and alcohol for good. Because every child, every family, every community, deserves better.

How We Can Help The Courage to Want Change

We know it isn’t easy to take a stand. Resisting temptation is a daily test in Los Angeles, reminding each of us what we’re made of. But sometimes, the stress in keeping it all together can be too much.

That’s why Eggleston Youth Centers, Inc. is here providing a community-based Substance Abuse and Education Program (ESAEP), offering Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs to help eliminate substance use and dependency.

With ESAEP, adolescents and young adults at risk for developing drug and alcohol addiction, and those who are actively using drugs or alcohol, can find the help needed to stop the cycle of use and live productive, drug-free lives.

Countless Benefits, Positive Results Education and counseling create confidence

In 120 to 150 days after ESAEP program participants begin, their personal reality will be that much clearer. Once hidden hopes and dreams can now rise to the surface and become goals to be set and met. Their new-found freedom without drugs and alcohol comes with a sense of pride in themselves and how they represent family and the community as a whole.

Treatment Options for Teens and Young Adults

Depending on the level of drug and alcohol use or risk factors that increase the likelihood for use, ESAEP offers many types of counseling, education, workshops, and support to meet the needs of each individual. This integrated approach helps participants identify environmental factors, life stressors, and past traumas that often present the reason or urge to use. From there, learning healthy behaviors and coping skills guide them to positive outlooks and a greater sense of well-being.
